Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update

Update for HTC One X+ to 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Build version (2.17.709.12) Now Available

HTC One X+ owners has started to receive the 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software update.  According to some folks at XDA forum, that several owners of the unlocked version of One X+ in Asia were lucky enough to tastes first this 4.2.2 update and hopefully Europe and US owners should soon follow. The new 4.2.2 update brings the ‘HTC Sense 5’ which was officially announced way back in February. There also some addition of  several  features that brings the HTC One X+ to a new level of user interface experience. Some stuff added such as the ‘Blink Feed’ effect from the home screen.  The music and video apps are also updated with some kind of an automatic highlights and visualizer in the gallery app.


This 4.2.2 software update comes in a build numbers version of 2.17.709.12 and again it’s only released for unlocked or unbranded HTC One X+ devices. All other unlocked and for those One X+ bought from major carriers in Europe will also get this update before too long. This update is being rolled out in stages, and the push mostly ends to a couple weeks.  This already rolled out via OTA (over the air) and gains around 484MB to download.
