The international Galaxy Note 3 4.4.2 KitKat update has began rolling out on January, but the released mostly covered for the carrier branded or those locked with network providers. The unlocked Galaxy Note 3 variants has seen only few enjoyed the KitKat update yet, but recently Samsung has also started to roll out the KitKat update for those with unlocked Note 3 devices and now hitting in Europe regions. The new 4.4.2 KitKat update with firmware build N9005XXUENB4 which now can be seen on both branded and unlocked Galaxy Note 3 in countries such as Germany, France and South Eastern part of Europe.
But then again, Samsung never released any information of what’s new about this update but it will surely adds more system stability enhancements, bug-fixes and any improvements. This update is now live on Samsung Kies firmware server or via over-the-air (OTA) update. So owners of those unlocked Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) should now start to check this update. This is an update from those who still runs on Android 4.3 firmware with build number N9005XXUDMK2 or with baseband version number N9005XXUDMJ7, while some are from 4.4.2 KitKat already. Your baseband version will then replaced by number N9005XXUENB4 and upgrade your Galaxy Note devices to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
