UK’s Unbranded Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 KitKat Update Goes Live

Samsung has just rolled out the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the unlocked versions of Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) and the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505) in the UK.  The two devices will start seeing the 4.4.2 KitKat update in the UK, which has dubbed with firmware build version “N9005XXUENB7” for the Galaxy Note 3 and “I9505XXUEMK8” for the Galaxy S4. This update is now live and can be downloaded through over-the-air or OTA which has a file size in between from 300MB up to 400MB.

Some of  the KitKat default features are the new white status bar icons and  the camera shortcut icon found in the lock screen, but other features are more focused on a restyled UI, system stability and other enhancements.

Security Enhancement and Stability Update.
– Other changes may depend on the country or the mobile network providers.
– Once received the 4.4.2 KitKat update, you can not revert back to the old software version due to the new security policy guidelines.
