T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon Galaxy S7 & S7 edge Android Nougat beta updates

As Samsung has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update under its Galaxy beta program to those Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users who took part the testing process. However, this has been initially made available on participating U.S. carriers such as T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint not including AT&T. The Android Nougat beta program period has started on November 9 and will end up on mid-December 2016. Noting that only chosen few whom were lucky enough and got accepted during the registration process, while there are also many have been out of luck to get in as the maximum number of participants has reached to its limit.

Now, those who have not been able on taking part of the said Nougat beta program, and wonder how the update has gone through the process, here is the rundown of all of each specific build version and stuff from over the past few days.

November 20, 2016 – The second batch of Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were released. It’s a minor update that fix the Facebook app force close issues. The Verizon Galaxy S7 and S7 edge got it at the very first hand. The update has moved from build version PK4 to PKC. The OTA update weighs at only 52MB in file size.

November 14, 2016 – T-Mobile Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge Android Nougat beta program updates rolling out. The T-Mo’s Galaxy S7 receive the Nougat build version G930TUVU4ZKP4, while Galaxy S7 edge on the other hand got the build version G935TUVU4ZKP4.


November 11, 2016 – Android Nougat beta program updates kicks in on Verizon Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge receive the first batch of Android Nougat beta program updates. The Galaxy S7 beta tester got the Android Nougat beta build version G930VVRU4ZKP4, and build version G935VVRU4ZKP4 for the Verizon Galaxy S7 edge users .


November 9, 2016 –  Sprint Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge receive the first batch of Android Nougat beta program updates. The update brings the Android Nougat beta build version G930PVPU4ZKP4 for the Sprint Galaxy S7, and build version G935PVPU4ZKP4 for the Sprint Galaxy S7 edge.


In addition to this, it is much likely that the Android Nougat beta program have been successful. Though there are some minor glitches has been found but the fixes has also been brought up accordingly, thanks to all beta testers thoughts and feedback.  Now, the only thing we are going to abide is the last and final Android Nougat build that will be release to all Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge users around the world.
