T-Mobile HTC One long-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade has finally arrived. Just right on time and upon the scheduled date, the new 4.3 update now comes in the form of software build version 3.24.531.3 and there are several new features and improvements added. This 4.3 update also enclosed the new HTC’s Sense 5 UI which already found on other HTC ONE variants that already received this Android 4.3 earlier this month.
So everyone on TMOUS HTC One should head-over to your settings and check that update button now. HTC has officially announced the instructions on their site on how to properly update your devices. This is only available via OTA (Over-the-air) update with WiFi connection, so you must catch it being push to your phone as you are going to receive an update notification message.
Just make sure your device is not rooted so you’ll get this update straight to your phone without issues.
Anyway, there is no RUU and stock firmware available for now, so if you might have been run into CUSTOM ROM or ROOTED, you can only update via fastboot recovery using the flashable firmware files.
Android 4.3 Software Update version 3.24.531.3 Changelog:
- Notification bar and quick settings
- Battery life
- Camera AE/AF lock
- HTC Blinkfeed – Navigation & Instagram
- HTC Video highlights
- Bug fixes
Next on the row is Verizon HTC One that we could expect to arrive before end of this month, since Sprint HTC One already got the 4.3 update ahead of all U.S carriers release schedules.
