Sprint Galaxy Note 4 and Note edge OTA updates to N910PVPS4DPK1 & N915PVPS4DPK1

Sprint has pushed the OTA updates for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910P) and the Galaxy Note edge (SM-N915P) to which will rolling out this week. Both updates contains the November Android security patch that might also includes some minor bug-fixes and other system enhancements. The Galaxy Note 4 will receive the update version N910PVPS4DPK1. While on the other hand, the Galaxy Note edge will also get the build version N915PVPS4DPK1.

Here are the details for the Sprint Galaxy Note 4 updates.

What’s new: November Android device security enhancements

This will replace and updates the following previous released version and was also contained the October Android security patches.

Sprint Galaxy Note 4 previous update:

Sprint Galaxy Note edge previous update:

  • Build number: MMB29M.N915PVPS4DPJ1

Furthermore, the two this device support pages has already been abandoned for a quite some time now, so there is nothing we can learn more about it. It may just be reasonable that this device has gone older, and were already succeeded by the Galaxy note 4, the Galaxy Note 5, and the recently recalled Galaxy Note 7 due to its failure. But one thing for sure, the update is now live via Over-The-Air as we speak.


So better check the update manually either via Over-The-Air or using Kies/ Samsung Smart Switch for PC. Just make sure to make backup of your important data and files first, and then recharge your device battery before taking the OTA update

To check for the update just navigate into your device Settings > About device > Check for updates.
