Sprint is quietly the first U.S carrier to rolled the 4.4.2 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy S4 (SPH-L720), but now it time for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SPH-L720) joins the KitKat fun. Today, Sprint and Samsung has officially rolled out the 4.4.2 KitKat update that comes in a firmware build version numbers N900PVPUBNAB. This update has fully equipped with the latest 4.4.2 KitKat craze that brings a bunch of new features and improvements.
Most of the changes found on Android 4.4.2 KitKat has focused on UI improvements like the new lockscreen access areas, media controls, camera shortcut icon which can be found on the lockscreen, the status bar icons has been changed with no colors at all, the Google standard keyboard added with ’emoji’ support and among other KitKat stuff. The update is now live over-the-air (OTA) if you ain’t received the OTA update notification yet that simply means it’s not everyone can received an update at the same time. So, just start hitting your device Settings>>About Device>> and Check for update. Just make sure your device has no root or you’ll only get into trouble while updating. Your Galaxy Note 3 must run on official 4.3 firmware build N900PVPUBMJ4 before performing an update.
