Gladly to say that it turns out the international Samsung Galaxy S4 leaked Android 4.3 firmware I9300XXUGMJ9 that was seen yesterday now goes officially rolled out. Yup, the firmware build numbers ‘I9300XXUGMJ9’ has officially pushed to Vodafone Galaxy S3 in Ireland. For those who got the unbranded Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) it sounds like Samsung is in-favor on a carrier network provider and I feel sorry to say that. But the most part is that the 4.3 update has begun rolling, it only happens that the rolled out started with owners of the Vodafone Ireland branded version.
This only a initial release and we do not need to hurry up. We expect that all other Galaxy S3 owners will also start receiving the Android 4.3 update these coming days up to end of this month ahead.
Here are the firmware details of the 4.3 update on Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9300);
Version: Android 4.3
Country: Ireland (Vodafone)
Product Code: VDI
Build date: Oct. 26, 2013
As you may know, Samsung has skipped the Android 4.2.2 update on the Galaxy S3. The Android 4.3 are added with new flavors that can be seen on Galaxy S4 , but not mostly all of them. One the default features that Android 4.3 brings is the Galaxy Gear functionality and the Samsung KNOX support, but according to the initial report that KNOX does not come fully installed, it only has an icon that let you download if you want to install KNOX.
Is this new Android 4.3 build version UGMJ9 can still be rooted?
Yes! As we already confirmed that it’s a KNOX free, meaning to say that you can still root your Galaxy S3. The CF-Auto Root or SuperSU will still worked on your Galaxy S3.

I can’t wait much longer and I want to 4.3 update now?
You can do so by flashing the official I9300XXUGMJ9 4.3 stock firmware from here and carefully read and follow the instructions. Again, this is carrier branded firmware and contains the default bloatwares from Vodafone but you can removed bloatwares though, all you need is just a extra workaround like installing Titanium Backup and freeze any unwanted apps.
