XDA-Developer senior member [jovy23] already done some cooking with the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update build T999UVDMD5 for tweaking T-mobile Galaxy S3. This stock T999UVDMD5 already added with root based from latest SuperSU, with Carrier IQ and some stuff.  All Premium Suite key features such as Multi-View are still intact and of course the default T-Mobile’s bloatwares are still there also but you can manually remove it if you want to.

  1. I have stock 4.1.2 unrooted already. If I flash this rom will i loose data (I mean apps and account stuff)? Or will this just root my current rom?

  2. Newbie question: stock rooted images also keeps the TMO VoIP intact? I really need that feature when traveling home …

  3. when ROOTING, will the phone preserve its text/emails/files?
    i realize rooting means cracking the OS code to allow unauthorized sw on it, but i read some use “images” of other phones, which means a type of cloning?
