  1. will this works on Samsung Galaxy tab 8.9 GT-P7300 with Baseband version P7300XXKJ6.
    If yes tell the procedure.

  2. I reached step 7 with no issues so far as I could tell. Unfortunately when I tried to reboot by pressing power while holding volume up, nothing happens. If I hold volume down and press power, it reboots normally just as though I had only pressed the power button. Did I miss something?

    1. It should reboot in recovery, flash the CWM recovery once more, then try again booting in recovery.

  3. Can someone help me please? I done everything like this post says but I can’t get the root done. When pressing the start button at the Odin it gives two error messages:

    MD5 hash value is invalid
    recovery.img.md5 is invalid.

    Guess something wrong with ClockwordMod?

    1. Just find out at XDA-thread, some folks posted other CWM and TWRP recovery build version.

  4. I follow all the steps up to 5.

    There I got the following:

    Odin v.3 engine (ID:5)..
    File analysis..
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

    Any ideas?

  5. doesn’t work

everything installed properly but my tab is still not rooted

and I don’t get how installing a recovery and SU will root my device..

  6. Thank you very much.
I’ve tried with SuperUser from the Play store, but it didn’t work.
Your advise to use the file from the website saved my day 🙂

  7. In step 2, #2, download the superuser using the link:

There are two posibilities: “ARM devices”, and “x86 devices”.

Which one must I download? (I don´t see “ARM” nor “x86” anywhere in my device)

    Thank you
