Root N7100XXDMC3 Galaxy Note 2 N7100 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update with CF-Auto-Root

Root your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 that has updated to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean build N7100XXDMC3. This firmware has released in Germany and Poland for a while now. For those who needs root,  just grab Chainfire’s CF-Auto Root (tolte version) for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100  below.

Unzip or extract the downloaded Then you will get the CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar.md5 which now an Odin flashable file.

  • Make sure the battery is fully charge.
  • Make a back-up copy of all important files stored from the device.
  • Enable USB debugging mode of your Note 2 Go to Settings>Application>Development>Turn On USB debugging mode.

Root GT-N7100 XXDMC3 Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean

Step 1:  Run Odin Odin3 v3.07.exe or v1.85.exe in your computer

Step 2: In Odin options, make sure the “Re-Partition is unchecked. Leave Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes are checked.

Step 3: Reboot the Galaxy Note 2 N7100 into download. To enter Download Mode just “press and Hold the Volume Down button, Home and the Power button. Simply press volume up to continue, once the warning screen appears.

Step 4: Connect your Galaxy Note 2 N7100  to the computer via USB cable. You should see that  Odin will  highlight the ID:COM bar and  it says “Added!!”. If  Odin doesn’t respond once the device is plug, just check for possible issues like re-installing the USB driver and or checking the USB cable.

Step 5: Click the PDA Button,then browse and select the CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar.md5 file to load it.

Step: 6: Simply Hit the START button to begin the root process.

Step 7: Wait until it finishes and or until a word “PASS!” displays in Odin and then let the device completely reboots. Then unplugged the phone computer.

Reset the Binary Flash  counter to 0.
Installing CF-Root will trip the binary flash counter, you may only reset it using the triangle away apps.
Grab Triangle Away apps to support Chainfire.
Just follow the steps from apps menu once installed.
