  1. XDA site (edited May 15 2013) states “You will need ODIN v3.04 in order to gain root on the Rugby Pro (comanche)”. You have ODIN v3.07 download link posted, is it OK to use either one? I would think newer would be better but ya never know.

    1. You can use which version you want. Working Odin for Rugby 1.85, 3.04, 3.06, 3.07. We have a complete stock of all Odin versions and we exactly knows what specific model variants each version will be used for. We pointed-out to used Odin 3.07 which is the most latest version and compatible to most latest Kies USB driver and Windows based computer’s OSX.

  2. Your instructions say that in Odin, only F. Reset time should be checked. But your screen grab shows “auto reboot” also checked. Either way, when I boot into recovery, I get an error message “E: can’t mount ….” Other sites say to use an sd card formatted FAT32. I tried that with 3 different brands of card. Still same error. Does it have something to do with the line “Qualcomm Secure Boot: Enabled”

    1. The instructions is for beginners who can’t pop into recovery in a quickest way as possible without actually rebooting. As you’ll notice there’s another button in Odin that says ‘Reset’ and ‘Exit’, we used that.

  3. The error appears on the phone after I boot into recovery I can’t install the root update zip because the sdcard does not mount.

  4. TheBigDeal – I ran into the same issue, I had to install TWRP 2.5.0.0 instead of CWM. Once I rebooted, I rooted in about 2 seconds. CWM can’t recognize any of the partitions.

    1. I had the same problem, : Cant mount sd card / cant mount cache with “comanche_cwr_6015_utkanos.tar.md5 (ODIN) — Utkanos sources“

It worked for me to install TWRP 2.5.0.0 instead of CWM.
      Thanks! I’m now rooted 🙂

  5. Kingo works well.

    go to Kingo website
    d/l and install kingo
hook your phone up via USB
Press Root and your done in seconds
