The HTC One X OTA update to Android 4.2.2 with build version 4.18.401.2 now finally rolling out in several parts of Europe regions. This update now brings the new ‘HTC Sense 5’ and includes the ‘Blikfeed’ with an option to disable it if owners hesitate to use it. There are also some changes occurring under the weather lock screen and weather widget but this time a new weather clock apps evolves.
The 4.10.401.2 OTA update is now only available first for the unlocked versions of HTC One X with corresponding ‘CID’ codes that matched with the device. Those who might want to update now better check it out via OTA (over the air), just hit your device settings and look for the check for software update option. It’s weigh around 380 megabytes to download and install.
Those who might want to manually upgrade and install this 4.10.401.2 OTA update, there’s a OTA update flashable file at XDA-developers forum that are basically used by advance users. Just make sure to read the whole procedure before doing so. But then again, I suggest you need to wait for the official OTA update which basically safe, this will come in your region too very soon. There is no available stock RUU for now, so sorry for those folks who may look for it.
