The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition has now also starts receiving the new software update to JWR66Y that has been seen hitting the HTC One Google Play Edition earlier this week. The new software baseband version is labeled as I9505GUEUBMH5 and reported to adds and focus more on security improvements. The arrival of JWR66Y update is nothing new, since it has been already seen on other devices back in August, including Nexus 4 , Galaxy Nexus , Nexus 7 3G and Nexus 10 tablets.
This update has now hitting over-the-air, and just has a smaller size of few MB’s. Folks at XDA forum armed with Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505G Google Play Edition has started receiving this update earlier today. As usual, the roll-out might is in stages, and that means not everyone can receive a notification to update at the same time. Just make sure to hit your device settings and check for this JWR66Y update.
