HTC has started rolling out the 4.2.2 software update on AT&T’s HTC One X+. The software update dubbed with build numbers 2.15.502.1 brings the HTC Sense version 5.0 goodies. While other Android devices has been receiving Android 4.3 and 4.4.2 KitKat updates, some users might have been also expecting that the One X+ can get a 4.3 (Jelly Bean) but that might not eventually happen for now. The 4.2.2 update also brings some several changes as an adverse effect of the HTC Sense 5.0 upgrade, there are also some bug fixes that targets the NFC (Near Field Communication) issues and AT&T’s default applications. Some users also reported that they found some improvements on battery performance and memory usage.

This update is now live via over-the-air and weighs around 532.1 MB in size to download. So just head-over from your device Home screen, tap All apps>>Settings>>AT&T software update>>Check for updates.
