AT&T has pushed an automatic software on LG G4 (H810) dubbed with build number H81010e. The update was rather small. It was a critical update for a wi-fi bug. The wi-fi connection was not working on a 5ghz connection, and the bugfix corrected it, according to AT&T.
The update sparks confusion to several AT&T LG G4 users, as it was being pushed as early as expected to the scheduled release. The update installs itself automatically on to the device without the users confirmation. Some users have had rushed in to asked AT&T’s support personnel just to confirm either if the update was officially came from AT&T or rather might be some kind of security breach to the device. The notification message was then later issued that the new update is held for grab right after the official announcement is made.
