AT&T’s Galaxy S4 (SGH-I337) will now received the new Android 4.3 update to build version number I337UCUEMK2. The MK2 build is the second Android 4.3 rolled-out within this month right after the earlier released I337UCUEMJ9 that was pulled-out later for some serious problem. This update will fix some issues from the previous update that has been complained by users like the high battery consumption, delayed lockscreen, low WiFi connection, lag here and there when opening an application, poor audio sounds when making phone calls and more.
This update will still have the same features like the Samsung Galaxy Gear support, KNOX security apps and among all other Android 4.3 stuff.
Here’s the official changelog addressed by Samsung;
- Android 4.3 OS upgrade
- Samsung Galaxy Gear compatibility
- Group Play 2.5
- Samsung Apps
- Drag and drop to uninstall or disable applications
- Call reliability improvements
The new 4.3 build I337UCUEMK2 update size is 719MB to download for those who still runs on Android 4.2.2 build number I337UCUAMF3 and did not received the MJ9 update, but for those who already took the earlier I337UCUEMJ9 a patch update to MK2 will just around 28MB to download. This update is only available through OTA (over-the-air) with WiFi connection.
