Rogers, Telus and Bell Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE Getting 4.4 KitKat Update

Rogers, Telus and Bell’s Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE SGH-I467M, Canada’s variants will now also seen the Android 4.4.2 KitKat goodies. The new 4.4.2 KitKat software update dubbed with build numbers I467MVLUBNF3 has just seen floating around at Samsung Kies firmware server. For those who may know, Samsung has been rolling out the 4.4.2 KitKat upgrade to the international Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 earlier last month. While the other Canada’s Galaxy Note Note 8.0 GT-N5120 the WiFi version has also got it’s 4.4.2 KitKat update to build number N5110UEU2CNE2.

Some noticeable changes on the 4.4.2 KitKat are the new status bar icons which is now on a white color instead of the green we have seen before. A few keyboard improvements, new S Note, a few bug fixes and effects when turn off and on your phone.Galxy Note 8.0 4.4.2 KiKat upgrade

  • When using a screen recorder you will get Internal Audio Recording.
  • New Setting! Its called “Default Applications” Below “Applications”
  • We also have new apps! (Music Hub,Video Hub, etc.)
  • Accessibility issue fixed.

The Multi Window lines are smoother and instead of having an arrow on the screen, you just swipe your finger from the right. Toast messages also were changed. The “Recent Apps”(Long Press Home Button) Words are now bigger.There is also a new thing in “About Device” its called “SE for Android Status” and by default its “Enforcing”.

Instead of a Binary Counter which can be reset, we now have a Knox Counter which cannot.
Our Task Manager also changed, and UI Improvements. Driving Mode turned into “Hands-Free Mode”.
There are also Battery Life Imrpovements, Performance Improvements and GPS turned into Location.
You can also record your screen without an app or root! Just use a PC via USB Cable.

So again the update is now live via Samsung Kies, all you need is grab the lates Kies 3 so you can manually upgrade your Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 LTE  i467M.  The update might also rolled out over the air or OTA update, so make sure to head-over to your device Settings>>About phone>> Check for update.
